I've known Rick through 14 years and five or six countries. From Cairo to New York, the drinks have been great and the jokes have hit hard - but maybe not so hard when they're on him. So Riya, when you need help taking Rick down a notch, just say the word.

Willy Herrera

One of Rick’s college roommates and closest friends during our time at Boston College. We’ve come quite a ways - from keystone light and Cheetos on a beanbag chair in our dorm room, to both getting engaged within the last year. Although our reunions can be months to a full year apart, and regardless of whether in a farmhouse in Vermont or a high-rise in Dubai, some things seem to never change.

Nicolas Doering

What can I say? You don’t meet people like Rick often in life. When you do, you hold on to that friendship a long time. Jokes and whiskeys flow like the sea when the Boston College guys get together – so watch for us out on the dance floor, the waters might just get choppy out there. Cheers to Rick and Riya!

Abhinav Mathur

Rick's friend for far too long! Although we all know who the true prom king was, all I can say is... good luck Riya!

Timothy Bendt

Rick's school friend from 9th grade. Known him a long time, can't believe someone said 'yes'. Bad Boys for Life!

Brendan Hankowsky

I met Rick freshman year at Boston College when we realized we had a shared fondness of sports and ice cream. I can't wait to celebrate Rick and Riya!

Charlie Smith

Charlie and Rick met Freshman year at Boston College and were roommates Sophomore and Junior year. Some would say the reason they didn't live together Senior year was that Rick couldn't keep up with Charlie. In fact, it was Charlie who could not keep up with Rick. Charlie wishes many happy years to the lovely couple and is very excited to visit the UAE for the first time!

Jeff Colangelo

A dear friend and benevolent foe of Rick for nearly a decade. From fellow dorm-mates in Claver Freshman year at BC, to rambunctious roommates Sophomore and Junior year, our friendship has been one wild ride of grand times. Highlights include: witnessing Rick discover his love for bean bags and Orville Redenbacher popcorn, teaching Rick to feed our beloved guinea pig (Skoner), and Rick ensuring me that New York City is and always will be “The city of dreams, kid! The city of lights!”. Rick also still feels shame for accidentally shaking my father’s hand 7 years ago while Rick’s hand was covered in hair gel… It’s okay Rick, my dad forgives you.

Here’s to a lifetime of love and happiness for Rick and Riya! Can’t wait to celebrate with everyone in January!

Alex Flores

I met Rick freshman year at BC. We became quick friends and ended up rooming with each other during our time at BC. We've remained close friends after college as I continue to own Rick in any NBA or NFL debate he may start with me. So excited for the wedding! Cheers to Rick and Riya!

Rick was quite literally one of the first people I ever met at Boston College, and boy am I thankful for that. We stuck together through class, recruiting, Mary Ann’s, and a summer of adventure in London. I know that wherever Rick goes good times follow, and I can’t wait to see where life leads him next.

Riya and I were together in Cranfield for our masters. We had so much fun together- I would always go over to her house and she’d give me all sorts of food to eat and then we’d make fun of our friend, Navneet. We went to London just to shop and eat and that was one of the best days! Riya, you’re a darling and I’m so happy for you and Pariksheth! Wishing you all the happiness in the world!

Shikha Jain

It’s a new friendship but what caught my attention was her warmth. She’s a jovial person to hang out with who is always spreading love and light. And I just wish her all the happiness of the world for the fresh beginnings of her life!

Ever since I’ve known you, you have been a sweetheart! Bonding so well with not only me but the entire family. From little school time get-togethers to my wedding celebrations, it has been a crazy time with you. Tight hugs for all the bachelorettes! I could see how happy you were to meet Rick and I am so glad that you are together!
Have a wonderful married life!

Psychologists say, ”If a friendship lasts 7 years, it will last a lifetime”. And YES! That is so true for us. I shall never be able to forget the first day when we met in college. Who would have known, you will become such an integral part of my life. You have an important part to play in the person I am today, and I truly am thankful for that. You are mature, understanding, caring, friendly, crazy... the list can go on and on...

Time flew by so fast, and now you are finally hitched. I am happy you found your One. Wishing you an eternity of love and happiness! XOXO

Being friends with Riya has been lovely! We’ve not been like this from the start but we caught up with time and now she is an essential part of life. One thing that stood out from the start till date is that she has the art to annoy me at times or makes you meet the reality but hey, would never let anyone else do the same and always had my back!

I am glad you’ve found Rick and he’s got you because best things do come in small packages and it definitely goes for you. On a side note Rick, Riya is crazy but the right amount of crazy to keep your life happening and has a beautiful soul, just enough to do anything for the ones she loves!

I precisely remember the first time we met each other at Cranfield. I just love how easily we connected and became friends. I cherish all those memories we created with each other; those late night studies, exam preps, bunking classes, chilling on weekends & talking about life. We had our share of ups and downs in the friendship but you hold a very special place in my heart because you’re a true friend and above all a beautiful soul.

I’m so happy you’ve found your Mr. Right and I wish you both all the very best for your new beginning. Lots of love and happiness to you!

Riyu, my teeny-tiny packet of happiness. You're my crazy moti you know that right? Teaching me all the cuss words, spoiling me with all the love, always being there for me & pampering me. And when I see the beautiful & gracious woman you've grown up to be my heart is filled with love and joy.

Sisters? Best friends? I guess we are more than that, My Love.. Our lil secrets, stupid inside jokes, unstoppable giggles, midnight maggi & laddoos, and some tears too, we just shared it all.
Never let your flames of love quench. I wish you miles of smiles & tonnes of love and a marriage that lasts as long as the sun does. Forevermore. Stay blessed you two.

Riya is my best friend, my person, and it feels like we’ve been speaking about this day since we first met. I promise you this is just the beginning, and I am so excited to watch her grow into the kickass, wonderful wife I know she will be.

It’s so true to say with you Riya - a strong friendship doesn’t need daily conversations, doesn't always need togetherness, as long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends never part. Riya is that one person in my life. Always being good to each other no matter what the circumstance. Riya is a great companion, she is accepting, giving and extremely loving. Cheers to all the shenanigans of getting drunk together, picking on each other unapologetically and still holding hands to be with each other. Cheers to Rick and Riya.

From being the first friend I made in middle school to seeing you take the plunge to the next phase of your life, I am amazed at how far we have come, Riya. I am emotional and deliriously happy to see you turn over to the next chapter of your life. Pariksheth is a lucky guy. Only love and happiness to you two!
